Sh. Sanjay Bansal, an IRS officer of 1995 Batch has a varied experience in Customs and Indirect Taxes. He has an extensive experience of handling Central Excise and Customs in Kolkata, looking after the Anti- Smuggling needs including various equipments required for Anti Smuggling operations in Directorate of Logistics, handling and managing the passenger clearance at IGI Airport, New Delhi, detection of commercial frauds and narcotics in DGRI etc. He has also been posted on deputation to Departmental of Chemicals and Petro- chemicals and Financial Intelligence Unit of India i.e. FIU-IND. He has been instrumental in providing policy inputs for promotion of exports in DGEP and has handled the Air Cargo Export, New Courier Terminal and FPO, New Delhi, as Commissioner, Air Cargo Export. Presently he is looking after implementation of GST & CEx. as Pr. Commissioner CGST, Ahmedabad (South).
